Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

Effective date: July 3, 2026

Privacy Policy

This website, wearegapc.com (the "Site"), is operated by Global Animal Protection Consulting LLC ("GAPC," "we," "us," or "our"), a Florida limited liability company. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the rights available to you under applicable law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (the "CCPA/CPRA") and the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (Fla. Stat. § 501.701–501.721, the "FDBR").

1. Information We Collect

The Site is an informational website. We do not offer user accounts. We collect only the following limited categories of information:

  • Contact form submissions. If you choose to contact us through the Site's contact form, we collect the information you voluntarily provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), organization (optional), and the content of your message.
  • Server and hosting logs. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Analytics information. We use a privacy-focused, first-party analytics system that runs on our own server. It does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not share data with any third party. It records only aggregate information: the page visited, the referring website's domain, a coarse device type, and an anonymized daily identifier that cannot be linked across days or to any individual.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site; to respond to inquiries you submit through the contact form; to understand aggregate visitor trends; and to comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf — such as our website hosting provider, analytics providers, our form-processing provider (Web3Forms, which delivers contact form submissions to us), and our spam-prevention provider (hCaptcha) — or where disclosure is required to comply with law, enforce our rights, or protect the safety of any person.

4. Cookies & Opt-Out Preference Signals

Our analytics system does not use cookies. When you use the contact form, hCaptcha may set cookies and process technical information (such as your IP address) to distinguish humans from automated spam. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or sharing to opt out of; however, we acknowledge opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) to the extent required by applicable law.

5. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

To the extent the CCPA/CPRA applies to us, California residents have the right to:

  • Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information);
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information); and
  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise these rights, send a written request to the postal address in Section 10 below, including your name, the state in which you reside, and a description of your request. We will verify your identity to the extent required by law and respond within 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension where permitted. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof of the agent's authority.

6. Your Florida Privacy Rights (FDBR)

Where it applies, the Florida Digital Bill of Rights gives Florida residents rights including the rights to confirm and access, delete, and correct personal data, and to opt out of the sale of personal data or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data or engage in targeted advertising. Florida residents may submit requests to the postal address in Section 10 below and, if a request is declined, may appeal by writing to the same address.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not sell the personal information of any consumer, including consumers under 16 years of age.

8. Data Retention & Security

We retain the limited information described in this policy only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes stated above, and we use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the date of the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GAPC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
